A mountain greeted the morning dew
Surprised that there was something new
For as descended the streams beneath
A small river grew at his feet
He flowed in gravitated state
Meandering around instead of straight
Some rocks broke off, were carried away
Past others coursed the river to stay
Constant abiding and moving, together
They flourished by nearness of the other
Stay where you are, the mountain said
So the river flowed closer instead
For well he found he was his strength
To drift is to be a desert land
If only to give what he’s been given
Water of life from his mountain
